FAQ

Ask us anything. Here's a head start.

Straight answers, no fine-print voice. If your question isn't here, it's a great opener for your analyst call.

Do I have to pull my own credit reports?

Yes, but you won't do it alone. Your three reports are free at annualcreditreport.com, the official site. On our call we switch on a step-by-step guide in your portal that shows you every click, and your analyst stays on the phone while you do it. We never ask for a login to any bureau or bank.

Will any of this hurt my credit score?

No. Checking your own reports never affects your score. And disputing inaccurate information is your legal right — exercising it doesn't ding you.

Do you need my passwords or logins?

Never. Not to your bank, not to a credit monitoring account, not to anything. Most companies in this industry quietly log into your accounts as you — we think that's wrong, and we built the whole service so it's never needed.

What does it cost?

Nothing. GuidedScore is free — the file review, the dispute letters, the follow-ups, and your analyst's calls. No fees, no card on file, no monthly bill.

Who actually calls me? Is it a real person?

A real human analyst — not a call script, not a bot. Once your review is in your hands, your analyst calls to walk it with you and plan next steps, and keeps calling as your file moves. You'll never learn something important from a form email.

Who mails the dispute letters?

You do — and that's deliberate. We write every letter and load it in your portal ready to print, with the address and a checklist. You sign it and drop it in the mail, so every dispute arrives from your own mailbox, in your own name — a dispute the bureaus owe a real investigation, not one they can wave off as company mail. A stamp per envelope, and we handle everything before and after the mailbox.

Can you remove things that are accurate?

No — and nobody can, no matter what their ads say. If an item is accurate, current, and verifiable, it stays. What we go after is everything else: the inaccurate, the outdated, and the unverifiable — which credit files carry more of than most people expect.

How long does it take?

Bureaus generally must answer a dispute within about 30 days, so real progress is measured in months, not days. Anyone promising overnight results is selling something. You'll see every round and every response in your portal as it happens.

Do you guarantee results?

No, because honestly no one can — results depend on what's actually in your file. What we can promise is the deal: it's free, there's no card on file, and you can stop anytime.

What if I want to do this myself?

You absolutely can — you have the legal right to dispute anything on your credit report directly with the bureaus, for free. What you're hiring us for is the analyst reading three full reports, the strategy, the letters, the deadlines, and the follow-through, so it actually gets done.

What happens if I cancel?

We stop working your file, and you keep everything: your review, your dispute history, all of it. Nothing to pay, no exit interview, no hard feelings.
